Built as a traditional African roundhouse, this forty-nine-square-metre room sits on the resort's higher terrace, close to the Bahari Bar, internet café and reception, some 250 metres from the beach and pool. A pitched makuti roof covers a twenty-one-square-metre bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower, and clothing cupboard, opening onto a private balcony with seating over the gardens. Air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito net, minibar fridge, safe, flat-screen satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi are standard. An extra bed can be added for a third guest or child, though it narrows the floor space and is shorter than a standard single.
