Oceana Restaurant & Bar

Oceana sits directly on Kelan beach at Jimbaran Bay, in a double-storey building furnished with crafted wood throughout. The ground floor holds a hundred seats; the upper floor holds fifty more, and from both levels the view runs straight out over the beach and the water beyond.

The kitchen works an Asian-Mediterranean fusion direction, with fresh seafood as the through-line. Beyond the main dishes, there are desserts, a wine list, freshly brewed coffee, and a cocktail list that the bar calls its signatures. The combined seating for a hundred and fifty means the room handles both quiet meals and larger groups without feeling crowded.

The restaurant runs from late morning through to evening, covering lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner in a single service. Reservations are recommended but not required.

Jimbaran Bay is on the south-western coast of Bali, and Kelan beach sits at its northern end. The beach itself — sheltered, facing west — is the main reason to choose this particular stretch of coastline for a meal.
