Okuti sits on the bank of the Maunachira, a permanent channel inside Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The camp was refurbished in 2024 and holds seven rooms, all built as curved masasas — an old word for a house of reeds — on raised teak decks that look out over the river.

Five of the rooms are twin or double configurations, each with an en-suite bathroom, indoor shower, and outdoor shower. The honeymoon room adds a bathtub and a double bed. Two family rooms each hold two bedrooms sharing a bathroom, and the camp accepts children from six years old. All areas of the camp are connected by raised wooden walkways and are wheelchair accessible.

Game drives run in specially designed open vehicles with a window-seat guarantee of no more than four guests per vehicle. Moremi's varied habitats — floodplains, mopane woodland, and permanent water — support wildlife year-round, which makes the reserve workable for first-time visitors and those returning in a different season. On the water, you can take a motorboat through the open lagoons or a mokoro along the narrower channels. The Maunachira draws herons, storks, and a wide range of waterbirds, particularly during the breeding season.

The camp is reachable by air or by road; guests with a four-wheel-drive vehicle can self-drive into Moremi from Okuti rather than flying between camps.
