Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara

Olare Mara Kempinski sits inside the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, a private conservancy in Narok County that borders the wider Masai Mara ecosystem. The camp holds twelve tented suites, eleven of which are Deluxe Tents of eighty square metres each. These are raised off the ground to open the views across the plains, and each has a wrap-around veranda, a four-poster bed, a seating area, an ensuite bathroom, and the option of an outdoor shower. The single Honeymoon Suite adds a private plunge pool, an exterior dining area, a claw-foot bath, and indoor and outdoor showers.

Game drives run in the morning and at night, and the conservancy also offers guided walks, bird watching, and balloon safaris. A gourmet picnic can be arranged on the plains. Back at camp there is a shaded swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant with communal dining, and a campfire. The spa offers massages. Cultural visits to Maasai communities are available off-site.

The camp is eco-friendly and carries facilities for guests with disabilities, including wheelchair-accessible tents. The working languages are English and Swahili. The conservancy's private status means game-drive vehicles are not shared with visitors from outside, which keeps numbers on the ground low.
