Olimba Mara Camp sits on the bank of the Talek River in Narok County, outside the Masai Mara National Reserve proper and bordered on either side by Naboisho Conservancy and Nashulai Conservancy. That position keeps you clear of the reserve's busier corridors while the two conservancies and the wider Masai Mara ecosystem remain within easy reach for game drives and wildlife tours.

The camp holds six tents. Each takes up to three adults and can be arranged as a super king-size bed, twin beds, or single beds. Every tent has a private deck overlooking the riverbank, an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a fridge. Drinking water runs through a filtration system, and laundry is handled at no extra charge.

On-site activities include game drives, guided walks, bird watching, and game viewing from the camp itself — wildlife moves along the Talek River corridor regularly. Off-site, the adjoining conservancies open up horse riding and hot air ballooning in addition to the standard game drive circuit. The camp has a bar, communal dining, and a small library; it is licensed and accepts credit cards. Staff speak English, French, German, and Swahili.

An airport shuttle is available, and secure parking is on site for guests who drive in.
