Olkupelia Mara
Part of Phasec create
Olkupelia Mara sits on the bank of the Talek River in the Maasai Mara, with seven tents spread along a stretch of river that elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and crocodiles use daily. You do not need to go far for wildlife — much of it comes to the water in front of camp.
The camp holds six safari tents and one honeymoon tent. Each tent has a private veranda or deck, a lounge area, fireplace, bath, outside shower, mosquito nets, minibar and complimentary Wi-Fi. The honeymoon tent is set apart from the main run of tents. All tents are wheelchair friendly.
Game drives go out from camp into the Maasai Mara, where the Big Five are present. Bird watching is available both on-site and off, and the property lists high tea and fine dining among its on-site activities. The bar serves sundowners with a view over the river. A 24-hour security team is on the property, and babysitting is available on request.
Talek is the nearest settlement, and the camp sits within Narok County. Credit cards are accepted at the property.
