Omsiat Shahrazad Luxury Camp

The camp sits in Wadi Rum in southern Jordan, near Ad Disah. Accommodation includes tents and dome rooms, each with air-conditioning, private bathroom, and terrace. Two room categories are available: standard and dome. Every unit faces the surrounding sandstone formations and sand expanses.

Hot-air balloon flights lift at dawn, offering views of the desert floor, canyons, and dunes as the sun rises. Camel rides cross the desert terrain; routes vary by request. Guided 4×4 excursions run across Wadi Rum in open vehicles, with stops at geological landmarks. Hiking trails range from short walks near camp to longer treks with a guide.

Stargazing tours take place after dark at a designated observation point. An astronomer guide sets up telescopes and explains constellations, planets, and celestial features visible in the low-light environment. You can see stars not visible in populated areas.

The on-site restaurant serves traditional Arabic dishes prepared with local ingredients, alongside international options and vegetarian meals. Evening gatherings around a campfire include Bedouin-prepared food and tea. Staff arrange all activities and transport through the camp desk.
