Palm River Hotel
Palm River Hotel stands on the bank of the Zambezi River, four kilometres from Victoria Falls, set among indigenous trees with open water views across to Zambezi National Park. It is family-run and holds seventy-three rooms across several categories.
The sixty Deluxe Rooms each have a private balcony over the river or gardens, air conditioning, satellite television, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a minibar with a complimentary initial stocking. Executive Suites add a separate lounge and balcony. Honeymoon Suites include a four-poster king bed, outdoor shower, and a daybed on the balcony facing the national park. The Presidential Suite occupies a central position in the hotel with a super king bed, full dressing area, and a bathtub with brass fittings. The Palm Villa — a standalone three-bedroom configuration — has its own kitchen, dining area, private swimming pool, and direct river access, and suits families or small groups.
The thirty-four-metre infinity pool is oriented to face the river. A riverside dining deck sits under a canopy of Jackalberry trees and serves an open-fire barbecue dinner in the evenings; the same deck hosts High Tea. The main restaurant has full-height glazed walls with wide terraced areas stepping down toward the riverbank. On-site river cruises depart directly from the property. A complimentary shuttle connects the hotel to Victoria Falls town centre.
