Pestana Colombos All Inclusive opened as a five-star beach resort on Porto Santo, the smaller inhabited island in the Madeira archipelago. The property sits on Estrada Regional 120, a coastal road that runs parallel to Porto Santo's southern shore — a 9 km stretch of fine sand with tropical-temperature water. The resort holds 328 rooms spread across ground and upper floors, each decorated in ocean-blue tones and fitted with television, balcony or terrace. Double Classic, Double Pool View, and Double Family categories accommodate up to three guests; Suite T1 Apartment sleeps four; Suite T2 Apartment and Pool Villa each hold six. Vila Baleira, the island's town, lies five minutes by car.

Six restaurants operate on site: Marés serves buffet breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner for 270; Luigi offers Italian fare in an informal 100-seat space; Arab Maghreb and Madeira Lover's provide themed evening service by prior reservation. Three bars include Sunset Bar, open from 7 p.m. to midnight; Beach Bar, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Dunas Bar, poolside from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Room service runs throughout the day.

Two outdoor pools occupy 30,000 m² of gardens; a heated outdoor pool and a 25°C heated indoor pool — the latter adults-only — sit within the spa. The spa holds sauna, Turkish bath, hammam, tepidarium, and gym. A kids club with supervised children's pool operates during summer months with animator-led activities. Sports facilities include a multifunction court for tennis, basketball, and football; a volleyball court; a padel court; and two sand courts. Porto Santo's 18-hole golf course lies five minutes away. Porto Santo Airport sits 5 km from the resort.
