Phezulu Guest Lodge

PheZulu sits on a residential street in Victoria Falls town, about three and a half kilometres from the falls themselves. The twenty-one rooms are decorated with local artwork; each has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, mosquito nets, a verandah, tea and coffee facilities, and international plug points. Beds convert between twin and double configuration. Triple rooms take three single beds, or one single and one double — useful for families or small groups travelling together.

Breakfast is included in the rate: you can take a continental or a full cooked option each morning. The on-site restaurant is open through the day, and lunches and dinners are available on request. There is a pool, a bar, a TV room, and secure parking.

The front desk runs an activity desk, which matters in Victoria Falls: the list of things bookable from town is long — helicopter scenic flights, river cruises, game drives, elephant-back safaris, canoeing, kayaking, horse riding, cycling, golf, and fishing, among others. Staff can help sort logistics. An airport shuttle is available, and the lodge has its own green and charity policies on file.

The neighbourhood is quiet. A short taxi ride puts you in the centre of town and close to the main viewing points at the falls.
