Phong Nha Lake House
Kayaking the calm surface of Dong Suon Lake or casting a line from the shore, guests move between water and land at this resort in Quảng Bình province's Bố Trạch district. Phong Nha Lake House occupies the lake edge in Khuong Ha hamlet, a staging point for cave expeditions into Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Thirty-two units spread across eight lakeside bungalows, twelve villas, six superior rooms, three deluxe rooms, two family suites, and one apartment. West Lake Villas run 60 m² and include a private balcony, Balinese outdoor shower, and bathtub; king, twin, and triple bed configurations are available. The 75 m² West Lake Apartment holds three bedrooms — one king en suite, one queen, and bunk beds sharing a second bathroom — plus a jacuzzi on the balcony. Bungalows with lake view span 50 m² and open onto the water; vintage layout, double or twin beds, and a balcony. Family rooms sit poolside with two double beds or one double and two twins across 50 m².
Two swimming pools anchor the grounds. The restaurant overlooks the lake; breakfast is included in the room rate. Full-day tours depart for Paradise Cave, Phong Nha Cave, and Dark Cave within the national park. A 4.5-kilometre kayaking route follows the Phong Nha river system. Bicycles are available on request. Guided treks into the Abandoned Valley and Hai's Eco Tour wildlife routes cover jungle trails and river crossings. The resort supplies fishing tackle, pool towels, and yoga mats.
