Plantation Island Resort

The lagoon is shallow and clear, protected by a reef that runs along the western edge of Malolo Lailai Bay. Plantation Island Resort occupies 23 acres on the island of Malolo Lailai, 16 km west of Nadi International Airport in the Mamanuca Group. Six room types accommodate families and couples across beachfront, garden, and poolside locations. Beachfront bures face the lagoon; each holds up to four adults or two adults and three children. Two-bedroom garden bures, set among palms and tropical planting, sleep six. Beachfront hotel rooms occupy ground and first floors in four-room blocks overlooking the bay; ground-floor units open onto patios, first-floor units onto balconies. Studio garden bures contain a queen bed and two single sofa beds. Poolside rooms sit steps from one of four swimming pools. Garden rooms, the most economical option, are placed within the resort's planted interior. All units carry air conditioning, overhead fans, a refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, and a telephone. Televisions, radios, and in-room Wi-Fi are not provided; Wi-Fi is available in public areas without charge.

The Coconut Kids Club runs daily programmes for children aged four to eleven; the Lairo Club offers activities for guests aged twelve to sixteen. Four pools include a children's pool with a water slide. Complimentary use of kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie Cats is available; snorkelling, scuba diving, and offshore excursions can be arranged. Cultural activities include coconut-husking demonstrations and Fijian cooking lessons. The Malolo Cat catamaran departs Port Denarau Marina three times daily and reaches the island in 50 minutes. Helicopter and fixed-wing charter services operate on demand from Nadi.
