Praia do Soba

Set on a coastal tract 60 km north of Moçâmedes in Namibe province, Praia do Soba operates six bungalows and two cottages reached by an hour-long track requiring four-wheel drive. The EN100 connects the property via 20 km of dirt road from the national highway. Mobile networks do not reach the site; satellite internet provides wi-fi access. Bungalows hold between two and seven guests, with wooden furniture and mezzanine sleeping lofts facing the ocean. Family bungalow three includes two double rooms on the ground floor, a single bed in the sitting area, and two single beds on the mezzanine. The two cottages accommodate couples in double rooms with direct sea views. Each unit has one bathroom and one television. Room service is not available. A beach bar serves drinks and light food. A gym, volleyball court, and running track occupy the sports area. Four marked walking routes extend into the surrounding terrain, including Caminho dos Ventos, which follows rock shelves above the tideline to caves and small bays. Guided walking tours are arranged on request. A biological farm keeps chickens, ducks, quail, rabbits, and pigs; guests may visit to observe and feed the animals. Spa treatments include 40-minute full-body massage with lymphatic drainage, 30-minute back and leg massage, and exfoliation. A sauna operates on-site. Day visitors pay an entry fee and may access the beach, conference area, and cave called Gruta das Lágrimas. Vehicles must remain at the guard post.
