Pure Africa Waterfront

Pure Africa Waterfront sits on the Zambezi just beyond Kalai Island, ten minutes by road from Victoria Falls town. The property covers over a hectare with one hundred and ten metres of river frontage — enough space to run a wedding ceremony, a seated dinner, and a cruise departure simultaneously without the areas crowding each other.

Separate pathways lead from the entrance — marked by a decorative stone wall built by Zimbabwean craftsmen — to the cruises jetty and to the events lawn, which is bordered by a traditional perimeter hedge. A full kitchen and an in-house team handle catering and logistics on site.

The Eatery serves al fresco lunches and dinners with views toward the Zambezi shoreline. Head Chef Admire Mudzimu, trained at the School of Hospitality and Tourism and previously at Singita Pamushana, leads the kitchen with a focus on local Zimbabwean ingredients. The potjie dinner — a traditional cast-iron pot dish — is offered as a standalone or combined with a sunset cruise.

Cruises depart from the same waterfront: sunrise, lunch, sunset, and dinner options run on a fleet of four vessels, the largest of which, the Zambezi Explorer, carries up to one hundred and fifty passengers. The venue also takes weddings of up to one hundred and fifty guests, with ceremony, cruise, and reception packages available. Transfers from Victoria Falls town hotels are included in most formats.
