Reethi Faru Resort
Established as a private-island resort on Filaidhoo in Raa Atoll, Reethi Faru spans 600 by 350 metres and operates 145 villas across eight categories. The 54 m² Garden Villa sits within tropical foliage; the 74 m² Deluxe Beach Villa offers direct sand access. Water villas — 95 m² — stand above the lagoon on timber platforms with wooden ceilings and private decks. The 117 m² Deluxe Beach Pool Villa includes a seven-by-four-metre freshwater pool. Two-bedroom configurations run from 146 m² garden units to a 179 m² Deluxe Two Bedroom Beach Suite and the 256 m² Two Bedroom Water Villa Suite, the last equipped with a spa tub. Every unit holds a king-size bed, rain shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar, satellite television, in-room safe, and wireless internet.
Six restaurants operate on the island. Vakaru serves buffet breakfast, lunch, and themed dinners in a sea-front pavilion. Dhiyavaru, built over the lagoon, runs 24 hours with pizzas, salads, and local dishes. Huvandhu Garden seats guests in private cabanas for multi-course menus; Reethi Grill cooks tandoori, wood-fired pizza, and grilled plates beachside. Veggie 'n' Vegan opens for dinner; the poolside outlet faces the infinity pool and lagoon. Six bars include Haruge, Nala, Veyo, Thari, and Sunset Bar. The PADI 5-star SeaXplorer dive centre leads excursions to reef walls, overhangs, and caves; the house reef is accessible for snorkelling. The water-sports centre holds catamarans, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, fly-boards, parasails, and fun tubes. Two outdoor tennis courts, two indoor badminton courts, squash, basketball, and table-tennis facilities adjoin the gym. The spa offers treatments and a 15-minute jacuzzi session. Transfer from Velana International Airport is by 45-minute seaplane or 20-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo followed by 40-minute speedboat.
