Robin's House

Robin's House sits on the bank of the Luangwa River near Kakumbi and is booked as a single unit — the whole house, not individual rooms. It holds two bedrooms, a master and a children's room, plus a shared living area, which makes it practical for a small family or a group of friends travelling together.

A plunge pool faces the river, shaded enough to use at midday when the South Luangwa heat is at its strongest. The house comes with its own dedicated staff team, so meals, laundry and day-to-day logistics are handled without you organising them. Rooms have mosquito nets, fans, bath and shower, a safe, and a verandah; the main facilities include a bar, library and barbecue area.

Activities run from the house: game drives and night drives into the surrounding area, guided walking safaris, bird watching, catch-and-release fishing, and boating on the Luangwa when the season allows. Cultural tours are available off site. An airport shuttle is included, and a private vehicle can be arranged.

The house operates under Robin Pope Safaris, whose other properties are in the Luangwa Valley, so guests staying seven nights or more across the group's properties qualify for a long-stay discount.
