Rosewood Beijing

Rosewood Beijing sits in Chaoyang, the business and diplomatic district that holds most of Beijing's international hotels and embassies. The building holds two hundred and eighty-three rooms, each laid out along residential rather than standard hotel lines: walk-in closets, spacious bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and televisions set into the bathroom mirrors. The rooms use natural finishes and textured surfaces, and each one contains an original cloisonné painting alongside fine-art prints — the cloisonné enamelwork being a craft Beijing has produced for centuries.

Six restaurants and lounges cover a range of cuisines. Several of them open onto terraces, gardens, or balconies that were built into the design of the building from the start, so outdoor seating is a structural feature rather than an afterthought.

The Sense spa is designed to allow overnight stays within the spa suites themselves. Alongside it, the leisure floor includes an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a yoga studio. For meetings and events, the hotel has three thousand three hundred and fifty square metres of dedicated space across multiple venues.

Chaoyang District is well connected to the rest of Beijing by metro, and the airport expressway runs through it, making the hotel a practical base for both business travel and sightseeing across the city.
