Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp
Little Bush Camp sits on the bank of the Msuthlu River inside the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, shaded by indigenous riverine trees. It is the smallest of Sabi Sabi's lodges — six suites in total — which makes it well suited to small groups taking the camp on an exclusive-use basis.
Each suite is thatched and widely spaced from its neighbours. Inside, the rooms are fitted with king-size beds dressed in mosquito netting, wooden furnishings, and African artefacts. Bathrooms have both indoor and outdoor showers; a heated spa bath sits on each private deck, which looks out over the Msuthlu riverbed and the bush beyond. Air conditioning, a fan, a minibar, a safe, and tea- and coffee-making facilities are standard in every suite.
Two game drives go out daily — morning and afternoon, each running around three hours, with a coffee stop in the morning and a sundowner stop in the afternoon. Rangers also offer optional guided walking safaris after breakfast. Bird watching, night drives, and access to a game-viewing hide are available on site. A community tour, which must be pre-booked and carries an additional charge, visits the surrounding area and directs its proceeds back into the local community.
Dinners are served in an outdoor boma surrounded by bush. Spa treatments are available at the Amani Spas at Earth Lodge and Bush Lodge, both elsewhere on the Sabi Sabi concession, and in-suite massage can be arranged on request.
