Serian's Serengeti Mobile Kusini

Serian's Serengeti Mobile Kusini is a camp that moves — built to follow the wildebeest migration across the southern Serengeti rather than sit in one fixed place year-round. From December to May it positions itself among the short-grass plains where millions of wildebeest and zebra gather to calve. Ancient game trails pass directly through the camp, so the herds move around the tents rather than around the camp.

The camp holds six tents. Standard tents come with wrought-iron beds, Moroccan rugs, flushing toilets, and bucket showers in an en suite bathroom. Tented suites pair two separate sleeping tents with a shared living space between them — one side for parents, the other for children, each with its own en suite bathroom, and space for a third child in the living room if needed. Verandahs, dressing gowns, cotton linen, and complimentary laundry are standard across both tent types.

Each group travels in its own open vehicle with a dedicated guide and spotter — no fixed schedules, no shared itineraries. The camp sits within reach of both the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the plains around it carry high concentrations of cheetah, hyena, golden-backed jackal, and honey badger, alongside the predators that follow the calving herds.

Dining is communal. Guided walks, game drives, bird watching, and cultural tours are available off-site. The camp operates in English and Swahili.
