Set between Mzima Springs and the Tsavo River inside Tsavo West National Park, Severin Safari Camp occupies 25 hectares of bushland with no perimeter fence. Twenty-seven tents and suites stand within the park boundaries. The two executive suites—Kibo and Mawenzi—each hold a king-size bed and a corner bathtub beneath canvas, with a raised observation deck facing Mount Kilimanjaro and the savanna. Four junior suites, named for landmarks including Mzima Springs and Shetani Cave, are built from stone and carry a separate lounge, double washbasins, a sun deck, and a private courtyard with an outdoor shower. Twenty-one octagonal luxury tents, also under canvas, feature handmade wooden furniture, a private veranda, and en-suite bathrooms with shower, toilet, and bidet. Each tent and suite is fitted with mosquito nets.

The Out of Africa Restaurant serves breakfast buffet, three-course à la carte lunch, and four-course dinner. Marinated meat from the Kenyan highlands is prepared on hot stone or as fondue. The Thorn Tree Bar overlooks a waterhole illuminated at night. Bush breakfast and bush lunch can be arranged in the park. Kenbali Spa offers massages and facial treatments; a fitness tent, pool, and gym are available. Maasai guides lead one-hour nature walks around the camp; four-hour bush walks with Kenya Wildlife Service rangers track wildlife on foot. Game drives depart morning and evening; night drives use spotlights to observe nocturnal species. Sundowner viewings take place at Poacher's Lookout, with views toward Kilimanjaro. Maasai staff patrol the unfenced site around the clock. The airstrips at Finch Hattons and Kilaguni lie 30 minutes away.
