Shangri-La Guilin
Part of Phasec create
Shangri-La Guilin stands on the Li River bank in the city of Guilin, Guangxi, with the region's limestone karst hills visible from the rooms and gardens. The hotel holds four hundred and forty-nine guest rooms and suites; each looks out over the river or the hotel's landscaped grounds. The address is 111 Huan Cheng Bei Er Lu, about forty to forty-five minutes by road from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport.
Two restaurants and a lobby lounge cover the main dining. Shang Palace serves Cantonese dishes, Li Café handles international cuisine and local Guilin food, and the lobby lounge works for afternoon tea or a drink after dinner.
The recreation facilities are broader than most city hotels. There is a three-hundred-square-metre indoor heated pool, an outdoor pool, separate children's pools, a fully equipped gym, and a spa offering both Western and Eastern treatments. For families, the grounds also contain a game lounge, a mini zoo, bumper boats, a small train circuit, and a rock-climbing wall — all on the hotel property.
Conference and event spaces are available, and the hotel has a tour desk, car rental, and taxi and limousine services for guests planning day trips along the river or into the surrounding hills.
