Walking Safari
On foot through the Okavango Delta, tracking fresh signs
Skip to product information
This is safari at its most basic: a guide leads guests on foot through the Okavango Delta rather than by vehicle. Each morning begins with reading tracks and disturbed ground left overnight, piecing together which animals passed and what they did. No prior experience or training is needed, since the pace is slow and the emphasis is on observation rather than covering distance. Guests come away understanding how animals and their surroundings depend on each other, at a scale and speed impossible to sense from a car.
