Game Drives

A personal guide leads each drive from Shinde in a vehicle built for game viewing, with no more than four guests aboard. That window seat guarantee means every guest gets a clear line of sight and their own camera mount, rather than jostling for a view. The lodge sits in the Okavango Delta, on the edge of Moremi Game Reserve, where resident wildlife includes lion, leopard, wild dog, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, hippo and lechwe. Drives run alongside night drives, walks and boating as ways to explore the delta's channels, floodplains and islands, with the reserve's unfenced boundaries allowing animals to move freely across the land.
