Game Drives

Guests at Castleton have their own field guide and tracker, with a private Land Rover for the whole stay, in Land Rovers holding a maximum of six guests. Morning drives track the day's wildlife across Sabi Sand; late afternoon drives run into evening, when nocturnal species become active. Sightings can include leopard, lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, hippopotamus, hyena, cheetah, wild dog, reedbuck, nyala and numerous bird species. Because the vehicle and guide are exclusive to the guests staying at Castleton, the pace and route can be shaped around what they want to see.
