Treatments here are built around the surroundings, not a fixed menu. Massages take place in dedicated spaces at Castleton, using indigenous ingredients and essential oils chosen to relax, replenish and revive. Each therapy is tailor-made and can be timed to preference, so guests decide the length and focus of the session. The approach draws on local healing traditions rather than a standard spa formula, aiming to work with the quiet of the reserve around it. Afterwards, there is little reason to hurry: a private verandah or deck nearby makes for an easy place to sit with the effects a little longer.
