Singita Grumeti Balloon Safari

A dawn flight over the Serengeti, run by Serengeti Balloon Safaris, Singita's preferred operator in the region. Balloons carry eight, twelve or sixteen passengers, with the larger sizes available on request, and lift off daily year-round, weather permitting. Flights last around one hour, depending on wind, gliding low over grassland and acacia forest before rising to around 1,000 feet for a wider view of the reserve and its wildlife. Children over seven are welcome, with no upper age limit, and guests should be reasonably mobile. Book on arrival or, better, through Singita reservations in advance.
