Situ Island Resort

Situ Island Resort sits at the island's north-western end inside Quirimbas National Park, part of the Quirimbas Archipelago off the Cabo Delgado coast of Mozambique. No other lodge operates on Situ; the remainder of the island is largely open land, with a small seasonal fishing settlement tucked along the south-western shore.

Eight chalets run the length of the main beach — double and twin configurations, each with an ensuite bathroom, fan, mosquito nets, and a private balcony or verandah that steps down directly onto the sand. The dining area, which doubles as the honesty bar, looks out over the ocean, and three meals are included each day.

The activities are mostly water-based: scuba diving, kayaking, boating, catch-and-release fishing, deep-sea and fly fishing, and whale watching in season. Guided and self-guided walks cover the island, and bird watching goes out both on foot and by boat. Cultural tours and archipelago sightseeing can be arranged off the island. A spa with massages is available on-site.

An airport shuttle can be arranged, and the resort accepts credit cards. Wi-Fi and laundry are complimentary, and the property operates on eco-friendly principles with twenty-four-hour security.
