Spirit Of The Masai Mara

Spirit of the Masai Mara sits in its own valley on the Siana Conservancy, a private wildlife area of thirty-five thousand acres that borders the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Great Wildebeest Migration passes through this landscape, and the conservancy's game — including the Big Five — moves between it and the reserve freely.

The lodge holds ten suites, solidly built from a combination of modern and traditional materials and cooled by air conditioning. Each suite has a lounge with a complimentary private bar, a bedroom, a bathroom with both tub and shower, and a verandah looking out over the conservancy. A fridge, safe, mosquito nets, and complimentary laundry round out the practical details.

Game drives run in the morning and evening within the conservancy, and a full day in the national reserve — with a bush breakfast or picnic lunch served in the open savannah — is also offered. Night drives give you the chance to spot animals that move after dark. Guided bush walks are led by Maasai guides trained in wildlife safety, who also explain the medicinal uses of the trees and shrubs you pass. The lodge has a private waterhole for game viewing from the property itself, and an infinity pool with views across the conservancy.

Maasai community visits are part of the programme. A complimentary airport shuttle is available, and the lodge operates with a stated focus on sustainable tourism within the Siana Conservancy.
