Tete Ferry Sun
Tete Ferry Sun sits on a ten-hectare walled site on the south bank of the Zambezi, about twenty minutes from Chingozi Airport. The property holds one hundred and forty-three villas in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations — each with a kitchenette, air-conditioning, a private terrace, and free uncapped Wi-Fi. Most have garden or river views. The three-bedroom units have two en-suite bathrooms, making them workable for families or small groups travelling together.
The restaurant, A Brasa, runs a charcoal grill and a show kitchen. Dinner centres on flame-grilled cuts — rib-eye, T-bone, pichana, lamb chops, peri-peri chicken — alongside Mediterranean options and local line-caught fish. The deck lunch menu covers pizza, burgers, Portuguese prawns and calamari. Breakfast is included in room rates and runs from a full English to continental.
The twenty-metre outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi face the lawns and river. A guest-only gym is air-conditioned and open eighteen hours a day. Two event venues — Rio Zambezi, which seats up to one hundred and eighty-two, and the Cahora Bassa boardroom, which takes thirty — handle corporate conferences, weddings, and team events. The hotel team can arrange tigerfish angling excursions, river cruises, airport transfers, and babysitting.
The entire perimeter is enclosed by an eight-foot wall with an electric fence and a manned access gate.
