The Anchorage Wilderness
Part of Phasec create
The Anchorage sits on the bank of the Touw River inside Wilderness National Park, a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Wilderness village. The river is the reason to be here: you can take the property's courtesy canoe downstream to the Kingfisher Trail, walk up to the waterfall, and paddle back. There is also a swimming pool on the riverside sundeck, a covered verandah with a Jacuzzi, and a lounge with a courtesy bar.
The garden between the house and the river is planted with cycads, palms and ferns, and a fish pond with koi sits at the centre of it, crossed by a small bridge. Six en-suite rooms look out over the river, the tidal lagoon, or the surrounding reeds and vegetation — each with a private balcony or terrace, bath and/or shower, fridge, television, safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Luxury King Suite adds air conditioning, a double vanity, bidet, jacuzzi bath, and a wrap-around balcony. The ground-floor Double/Twin Room on the Terrace opens directly onto the sundeck and pool. Room service and a laundry service are available.
The National Park location puts canoeing, hiking, and birdwatching at the door. Beaches, boat cruises, golf, and horse riding are all reachable from Wilderness village.
