The Delight Swakopmund Gondwana Collection Namibia

The Delight Hotel is on Theo-Ben Gurirab Avenue in central Swakopmund, a short walk from the seafront and the breakwater known locally as the Mole. The Atlantic is close enough that the coastal air reaches the hotel; the beach is reachable on foot.

The hotel holds fifty-four rooms across several configurations. Forty-four are twin rooms — some facing the inner courtyard on the lower level, some facing the street on the second level, and one fitted for guests with restricted mobility, with both a shower and a bath in the en suite. Ten family loft rooms have twin beds on both the lower and upper levels, sleeping four. Every room has air conditioning, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and a safe. Rooms on the courtyard side are quieter; rooms on the street side look out over the town.

Breakfast is served on the breakfast floor and is included in the rate. The bar serves cocktails, light meals, and drinks through the day. A curio shop stocks local goods. Two meeting rooms accommodate groups of up to twenty-two and eight persons respectively, with a projector and flipchart provided.

The hotel has no in-house activities, but a dedicated Delight Host arranges bookings across Swakopmund's options — quad biking, sea kayaking, scenic flights, historical tours, and others. The Go2 Tourism Shuttle departs from the hotel to Windhoek and Sesriem, making it a practical base for travellers moving between the coast and Namibia's interior. Secure parking is available on site.
