The Elephant Camp sits inside Victoria Falls National Park on a concession of four thousand five hundred acres, on the rim of the Batoka Gorge. From the main deck you look across the gorge to the mist rising from Mosi-oa-Tunya — the Smoke that Thunders — on the horizon. The lodge holds twelve tented suites, each positioned to face the gorge, with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and a bathtub with an open view of the landscape. Canvas walls and an open-plan design mean the bush is audible from inside.

Activities included in the stay span game drives, guided walks, night drives, bird watching, and a guided tour of the Victoria Falls themselves. The Wild Horizons Elephant Orphanage, established after culling operations in the 1980s, sits adjacent to the property on the same wildlife concession; the resident elephants roam freely through the land, and visits take guests to where the elephants are. The Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, a non-profit partner, operates from the same concession and is available to visit.

For guests who want the Victoria Falls town — white-water rafting, helicopter flights, river cruises, canopy tours over the Batoka Gorge — the transfer takes around twenty minutes each way.

Two family suites accommodate parents and children in a single unit with a fold-out sleeper couch. The Elephant Camp West operates as a separate exclusive-use lodge with a private guide, chef, host, and game vehicle, suitable for groups booking the full property.
