The Langham Sydney

The Langham sits in Millers Point, the historic neighbourhood at the southern edge of Sydney Harbour where The Rocks begins. The Sydney Opera House, the harbour bridge, and the ferry terminals are all within reach on foot.

The hotel holds rooms and suites across the building. Thirteen suites come with a private terrace facing either the harbour or the city, and the standard rooms are large enough to feel residential rather than compact. All rooms carry a minibar, television, tea and coffee facilities, and toiletries. Breakfast is served on-site each morning.

The indoor pool sits under a ceiling fitted with fibre-optic points arranged as a star map — a literal ceiling, not a figure of speech. Alongside it, the Day Spa by Chuan offers treatments, and a twenty-four-hour fitness centre and a full-sized tennis court round out the physical facilities.

The Harbour Room serves afternoon tea daily, using Wedgwood china and drawing on a Victorian heritage going back a hundred and fifty-five years. Kitchens on Kent is the main restaurant, a buffet format built around eight interactive cooking stations with an emphasis on Australian produce. The Observatory Bar specialises in Australian gin and carries a cocktail list arranged around constellation names.
