Fishing
Wild trout fishing across rivers, lakes and Andean backcountry
Skip to product information
Fishing here shifts with the water and the weather. On calm days, anglers drift riverbanks casting size two dry flies, or work dragonfly-style patterns along lakeside reeds where trout leap for the fly before it lands. When rivers run high, options switch to horseback trips to remote mountain lakes or streamer fishing in deeper pockets. The lodge also runs the PatagoniaOne programme, a ten-night trip combining three days at Las Pampas Lodge in Argentina's Río Pico valley, three days floating the Figueroa reach from TempleCamp, and three more from BaseCamp itself, with short transfers between them. Nine full days of fishing, minimal crowds.
