The Tasman Taste Trail runs along the coast and through vineyard country near Riwaka, mostly unpaved and easy underfoot, suited to a relaxed pace rather than a race. The lodge arranges bike hire, drop-offs and one-way rides, so a ride can start at the door and finish somewhere else entirely. Riders after rougher ground can head to Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park or the wider network of trails around Nelson. For those wanting height without the climb, heli-biking trips are also on offer, dropping riders at the top of a descent by helicopter.
