The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman sits on Seven Mile Beach on the western shore of Grand Cayman, a coral-sand stretch that runs along the Caribbean Sea. The property covers one hundred and forty-four acres and holds three hundred and seventy-five guest rooms.

Five restaurants are on site. The most prominent is Blue by Eric Ripert, a fine-dining room holding a five-diamond rating — the only restaurant in the Caribbean to hold that designation. An interactive culinary studio sits alongside the main dining options for guests who want to cook rather than just eat.

The La Prairie spa handles treatments and skincare. A Greg Norman-designed golf course is on the property. Tennis courts, a basketball court, and a children's waterpark give the resort a broad range of activity for families. For those who come for the water, the Caribbean Sea is immediately at hand — the island draws divers and snorkellers, and the resort's position on Seven Mile Beach puts that access at the front door.

The Ambassadors of the Environment programme, developed with Jean-Michel Cousteau, runs educational activities focused on the marine environment of the Cayman Islands, aimed primarily at younger guests.

Grand Cayman lies roughly one hundred and fifty miles south of Cuba and one hundred and eighty miles northwest of Jamaica.
