The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans occupies the Maison Blanche building on Canal Street, a Beaux Arts structure dating to 1908. The hotel's restaurant, M Bistro, serves farm-to-table dishes built around ingredients from regional farmers, with an emphasis on local meats, seafood and produce prepared in the Creole tradition. On the third floor, the Davenport Lounge hosts live jazz through the week — it is named for New Orleans musician Jeremy Davenport, who has a long association with the venue. The hotel's courtyard hosts seasonal events that bring local food traditions inside, including dedicated roles for crawfish, snowballs and oysters served by staff assigned to each.

The spa holds the broadest treatment menu in the city, running to more than one hundred options. Among the signature treatments is the Voodoo Ritual, a full-body massage that uses a locally crafted herbal poultice made with absinthe, cypress and moss. The fitness centre operates around the clock on room-key access, alongside an indoor heated resistance pool and whirlpool.
