Cafecito Time

Every afternoon at 3.05pm, the hotel sets up a Cuban coffee stand in the lobby, recreating a ritual found at coffee counters across Miami neighbourhoods. The drink, cafecito, arrives in a thimble-sized cup, roughly twice the strength of ordinary American coffee and heavily sweetened. Guests can sip it slowly or knock it back in one go. The stand gives visitors a chance to taste and smell the coffee culture that shapes daily life in the city, without leaving the property. It runs daily and anyone in the lobby is welcome to join.
