Club Rio Springs

Club Rio Springs is a cluster of hot mineral pools set along the edge of a river canyon, reached on foot through tall rainforest. Paths wind between pools tucked around bends in the trail, with views over the water and surrounding forest. The best-known pool, Ojo del Agua, gets its name from the clear blue water and the bicarbonate bubbles that rise from underground and pass over your feet. Visitors walk between pools of varying temperature rather than staying in one spot. The setting is quiet, shaded by canopy, and centred on the river running alongside the springs.
