The Villas - Bedouin Boutique Resort
The resort is a collection of villas in Wadi Rum Protected Area, twenty minutes by truck from Wadi Rum village. Guests are collected from the village and driven into the desert. Each villa includes air-conditioning, a desk, a wardrobe, and views across the dunes and sandstone cliffs. Double, twin, and triple configurations are available.
The restaurant serves traditional Bedouin zarb—lamb and vegetables slow-cooked underground in sand—alongside fresh Arabic bread, hummus, labneh, and seasonal fruit at breakfast. Kunafa and dates with nuts appear at dinner. Arabic coffee and tea are standard. A terrace, a garden, and a shared lounge provide outdoor seating under the stars.
Guides arrange half-day and full-day jeep tours through the protected area, visiting natural arches, rock drawings, and red dunes. Camel rides last an hour at sunset. Sandboarding runs are available on the dunes. Hot-air balloon flights depart at sunrise for views over the valley and sandstone peaks. Horse riding crosses the immediate desert on Arabian horses. All tours begin from the resort and are led by Bedouin guides.
