Time + Tide Kakuli Family Safari Suite

Set high above the Luangwa River, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite gives each family its own private verandah looking straight over the water. Beds can be arranged as double or twin, and both indoor and outdoor showers are fitted, along with mosquito nets, a lounge area and pure cotton linen. Power comes from solar, with British three-pin plugs in the main lounge; there is no wifi or phone signal. From the verandah, guests watch hippos, elephants and giraffes at the water's edge, and bee-eaters hunting outside the tent. The camp is reached by a two-and-a-half-hour game drive from Mfuwe, or by boat in the green season.
