Time + Tide Kakuli Safari Tents

Set high above the Luangwa River, each of the four safari tents at Kakuli looks straight down onto the water and its passing traffic of hippos, elephants and giraffes. One bedroom, one bathroom, with both indoor and outdoor showers, and a private verandah furnished for watching the river. Rooms run double or twin, dressed in pure cotton linen with mosquito nets and a safe. Power is solar, with British three-pin plugs in the main lounge; there is no wifi or phone signal. The main lodge holds the dining area, lounge, bar and campfire. Kakuli opens from 20th May to 15th November, reached by a two-and-a-half-hour game drive transfer from Mfuwe.
