Time + Tide Tsara Komba opened on Nosy Komba island in 2013 as the newest property in a portfolio that began in Zambia's South Luangwa Valley in the 1950s. The lodge sits on forested coastline in Madagascar's Nosy Be archipelago. Eight lodges occupy the site — six Ocean View Rooms of 90 m² and two Ocean View Suites of 120 m². Each room holds a king-size bed, en-suite shower bathroom, and private verandah with sun-beds facing the bay. Suites add a separate living room with sofa beds and an outdoor-opening bathroom; they accommodate up to four guests. Rooms house two adults and one child or three adults.
L'Atelier des Saveurs restaurant operates under chef Tina Hary Ravelomanantsoa, who sources fish, fruit, vegetables, and spices from nearby villages. Menus change daily according to availability. The kitchen follows seasonality to limit waste. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the rate, along with tea, coffee, and mineral water. Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding launch from the beach. Scuba diving and snorkelling excursions depart for Nosy Tanikely Marine Park, a 20-minute boat ride away, where a lighthouse built in 1908 stands above coral reefs. Half-day trips visit Nosy Sakatia to swim with green turtles in protected waters. Full-day excursions reach Nosy Iranja, an hour by boat, where a sandbank connects two islets at low tide. Guided forest walks cross the island's interior. Village tours operate on request. Transfers run by road and boat from Nosy Be Airport, Hell Ville Port, or Ankify Port on the mainland.
