Urban Bliss Hotel

Urban Bliss Hotel sits on Luangwa Avenue in central Kabwe, about five minutes from the town centre and close to Kabwe Railway Station. It draws business travellers, families passing through on the Great North Road between Lusaka and the Copperbelt, and conference delegates — all of whom can stay, eat, meet, and exercise without leaving the property.

Rooms run from a standard twenty-eight-square-metre room with king or twin beds, workspace, mini-bar fridge, air conditioning, and DSTV, up through deluxe and executive options to a family suite and a presidential suite. Every room has complimentary Wi-Fi and a tea and coffee station.

The restaurant, called The Steakhouse, is run by Chef Kelvin, a two-time National Master Chef winner. The menu covers Zambian dishes alongside grilled steaks, pasta, pizza, and a full cocktail and wine list. You can eat indoors or on the garden terrace, and the restaurant is open to walk-in visitors as well as hotel guests.

The conference centre covers eleven thousand two hundred and ninety square feet across four rooms and can seat up to five hundred and fifty guests in theatre layout, with smaller boardroom and workshop formats also available. The spa offers massages, body treatments, facials, and salon services. The outdoor pool has a waterfall feature, and the gym runs around the clock with treadmills, stationary bicycles, weight machines, and steppers.

Kabwe is roughly one hundred and forty kilometres north of Lusaka — about one hour and forty-five minutes by road on the T2 highway.
