Villa Katarina

Set above the Adriatic in Orebić on the Pelješac Peninsula, Villa Korta Katarina is a Relais & Châteaux property with eight suites and an adjacent winery. Founded by Americans Lee and Penny Anderson in the years following their humanitarian work in post-war Bosnia-Herzegovina, the villa opened as part of a collection that includes the winery, a restaurant, and a seaside terrace. Each suite features air-conditioning, a television, and wireless internet. Bathrooms vary by room. The outdoor pool occupies the upper level with views across the channel to Korčula Island. An indoor spa area includes a hot tub, sauna, and fitness equipment.

Korta Katarina Winery stands within walking distance of the villa. Tastings feature Plavac Mali, Pošip, and other Croatian varietals grown on the peninsula. The winery restaurant serves Dalmatian dishes on a terrace facing the sea. Seasonal menus include peka—meat or octopus slow-cooked under a bell—and pašticada, a Dalmatian beef stew paired with the estate's Plavac Mali. The villa holds membership in Relais & Châteaux and was awarded a MICHELIN Key in 2025. You can hear the water from the terrace. Laundry service and bar access are included.
