Villa Koki Bonheur

Villa Koki Bonheur sits on the beachfront in Poste Lafayette on Mauritius's east coast, with the sand beginning where the garden ends and the lagoon directly in front. The villa covers three hundred square metres and sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, each air-conditioned. The architecture draws on Balinese references — open forms, considered materials, a calm palette — set against the coastal landscape of the Flacq District.

Inside, the living and dining areas are furnished for a full residential stay: the kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances for guests who want to cook and eat in, and the villa also has Wi-Fi and a television. Outside, the gardens lead to expansive sitting areas, and a private swimming pool sits between the house and the beach. The lagoon itself is reached directly from the property — no road to cross, no shared access point.
