Villa Margherita Swakopmund

Teak furniture fills a 50 m² suite at Villa Margherita, where a separate shower and toilet divide the en suite bathroom. The boutique hotel occupies four colonial buildings on a central Swakopmund garden, founded in 2008 across ten rooms and one two-bedroom apartment located 50 metres away in a private complex. Each unit includes air conditioning, a safe, hairdryer, and complimentary WiFi. The smallest room, Eden, spans 40 m² with a queen bed and direct garden access. The 95 m² King suite holds two bedrooms — one with a king bed, one with a queen — plus a private lounge and a view that reaches from Swakopmund's colonial rooflines to the dunes. Romeo & Juliet offers a queen bed and a large open terrace above the garden, accessed by a steep staircase. The Nest is a 70 m² two-bedroom cottage with a queen bed in one room, twin beds in the second, and a private garden. Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton can interlink to form a two-suite cottage with direct garden access and king beds.

The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner to in-house guests only, with vegetables harvested daily from the hotel's hydroponic garden. Head chef Jako van Vuuren leads the kitchen. The spa offers deep-tissue, lymphatic-drainage, and Swedish massage using Africology and Kalahari products. Laundry service, room service, and secure parking are available. Swakopmund's beach, shops, and colonial buildings lie within walking distance.
