Villa Robal
Villa Robal sits on a dune at the narrow tip of the Machangulo peninsula in southern Mozambique, where the Indian Ocean lies to the east, Maputo Bay to the west, and Inhaca Island sits directly ahead. From the pool or either of the two private patios, all three of those bodies of water are visible at once.
The villa has three bedrooms. The Luxury Suite faces the full panorama — ocean, island, and bay in one sweep. The Executive Suite faces west over Maputo Bay, which makes it the room for sunsets. Both have en-suite showers, air-conditioning, mini-bar fridges, and tea and coffee stations. The villa is run with biodegradable bathroom products and holds eco-friendly accreditation. A bar, a restaurant serving vegetarian options, and a pool are on the property, and laundry and airport transfers are included without additional charge.
The coastline here falls within a marine reserve. Sea turtles nest on the beaches; bird watching, kayaking, kite surfing, catch-and-release fishing, and boat cruises are all available. The beach along the Indian Ocean side stretches far enough that you can walk for an hour and see no one. The Maputo Elephant Reserve borders the peninsula to the south, and the Inhaca Island Marine Reserve lies to the north.
The villa is staffed and speaks English, Portuguese, and Afrikaans.
