Community Projects Visit

A resident village guide leads guests through daily life in a nearby Zambian community, with no staged performances involved. The walk takes in a school, a library and an adult education centre, all built by Waterberry's owners, plus a community farm set up during the pandemic to support local food supply. What began as a single classroom made of mud and sticks in 2009 has grown into a school now used as a regional exam venue. Children often join the group along the way. Part of the walk's proceeds go towards funding these projects.
