The River Farmhouse at Waterberry

A self-contained house on the Zambezi, taken over entirely by one group of family or friends. Three ensuite doubles sit alongside a two-bedroom suite; the south and east rooms look onto the river through French doors, while the other rooms face the gardens. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan, mosquito netting and air conditioning. The shared lounge opens onto a shaded terrace and an infinity pool, with sightlines across the water to the game park, where elephants sometimes come down to drink. A kitchen team cooks meals to be eaten indoors or out, and a fireplace covers the cooler evenings. Wi-fi reaches throughout.
